Within a few years the web has moved from 1.0 to web 2.0. It is exciting to see that is has become a two way road and not just someone getting information from the internet. Larry Ferlazzo’s list of 2.0 educational applications for 2012 has a vast array of applications. From building webpages, to creating infographics, and other great applications that are useful in the classroom. I was completely unaware of the majority of these applications were available for use. I am excited and eager to use some of them; I have also emailed the link to this Ferlazzo’s blog to my coworkers.
It is also nice to be able to go through his top applications from other years starting with 2007. You can really see how technology has advanced over the years. Ferlazzo’s list was easy to read and it was nice that there was commentary available. I wonder what will come when web 2.0 evolves into web 3.0?
