I found that there was definitely an extensive list of productivity tools available on this page. Some of the links worked, and some didn’t. I did find that Google calendars and Google docs were listed. It Is good to know these tools are useful because my school district is in the process of moving all of our email over to Google. All of our students and teachers also have google drive accounts which utilizes Google Docs. Our school district has done this because it is simply much easier for us to have information in the Google cloud than on our own servers in the district.
A few of the tools I found useful was Todoist which is a to-do list. It can be utilized in Microsoft outlook, Google calendar, iphone app and more. It seemed like the free addition it was very versatile and easy to use. I also liked the sticky note link to MyStickies. While using the original post-it is what most people do, it is nice to have them on your laptop so they are not left on your desk, but with you all the time.
While the one mind mapping tool probably isn’t too useful in my field, I did send the link to our English teachers to see if they have utilized Bubbl.us before. It looks like a tool that is easy to use by any age group. I hope they find it useful!
